8th Day of Christmas

Link Posted on

On the eighth day of Christmas it was time to get back to work. If the stockings are going to be hung by the chimney with care, they need to be mended. Otherwise all of the goodies will simply fall out of the bottom. I know I have the supplies here somewhere, but it seems like my pincushion has eaten my hand sewing needles. Even if I had the needles handy I am finding it is getting much more difficult to thread them. The squinting is becoming a little comical.

Then what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a video link  to watch, so I peer. http://www.checkerdist.com/_divs/_videos.cfm?videoID=4071CV

It’s a desk top needle threader so easy and quick, I knew in a moment it would do the trick!

Whoa, I’m getting way off on a tangent. The bottom line is today, December 10, we have a great collection of hand sewing fundamentals featuring two spools of Aurifil thread, an assortment of John James hand sewing needles, a seam ripper, and a fantastic desktop needle threader from Clover for only $29.99. Save 25% off of the regular price!

I have to say, that after I tried this threader I knew I would never go back to trying to thread needles any other way. Then I showed other members of our staff how easy and effective it was and got to watch their astonished surprise quickly turn to declarations of admiration for a great product! We now keep one handy with our hand sewing kit. Check out the video link and see for yourself!
